The Stevens Community Center serves the Rittenhouse Square and greater Philadelphia Community and is dedicated to furthering fellowship by providing meeting, event and ceremonial spaces for public and private events. While affiliated with the attached Lutheran Church of the Holy Communion the Stevens Center is a nondenominational space welcoming events from community groups and individuals, without regard to age, race, religion, gender, social status or sexual orientation.

The various spaces of the Stevens center have hosted a wide range of events including weddings, theatrical and musical performances, rehearsals, fundraisers, banquets, birthday parties and meetings. Currently the center provides permanent space to The Philadelphia Shakespeare Theater and provides regular meeting space to community/nonprofit organizations such as the Center City Resident’s Association, the 2101 Cooperative and the Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus.

The various spaces vary from contemporary to classic and can hold anywhere from 25 to 600 attendees. .
